I am a realistic dreamer - sometimes cynical to the point of being a misanthrope, sometimes naïve enough to believe humanity can actually change and that I can make a difference.
In my spare time I read voraciously, rant incessantly about Life, the Universe and everything and write Star Trek - and occasionally LOTR - fanfiction. These days, though, I am first and foremost the proud "mother" of an adorable mini schnauzer girl named Signe, who is the light of my life. Otherwise, I have a slight obsession with the human brain and a handwriting illegible enough to rival most doctors'.
